contact a pfaff service agent and see if they are still available. unless the motor smells or smokes I would have the machine serviced as it may be cotton waste wrapped around moving parts that is jamming the machine indicating a failing motor.

Meade will not sell you a mirror- most likely. Other than buying a brand new mirror which will be expensive try looking on Craigslist for a 4.5 inch scope for sale CHEAP and take the mirror out of it.

I ended up replacing the Hand Controller with a new one. After that it started working. I brought the new one on E-bay. They seem to have the best prices. Forget about talking to Meade. Their innate ability to reply to your phone calls or emails just doesn't work. I will ***** buy a telescope from them again.
