Lobster 544 I've lost the manual for my phone. It seems to be working OK but a symbol has appeared at the topleft of the screen that I haven't seen before. It's a tiny rainbow coloured rectangle. Do you know what it means?

please check the manual book, SE have few different type of symbols in various models like in some models 3G seen and in some of symbol H, in some it like a TV in in few it is a active internet sign. please refer to your manual what exact it is.

There are 7 buttons with its front panel including power ON/OFF switch button.They are; From left to right:- Video, Menu, Volume(-ve), Volume(+ve), Channel(-ve) and Channel(+ve). If these buttons are not there, it will be difficult to operate this set without a remote control. If you haven't the remote contro with you now, buy one universal remote control. The universal remote control suited for this set is COMCAST ON DEMAND CUSTOM-3 UNIVERSAL REMOTE control. The setup codes are:-
0748, 0765, 0767

Not to fret, I've solved the problem.

Bring up the phone onto the screen.

Enter: 3845#*910#

(You may have to do this a few times because sometimes it will actually try to dial the number.

This puts you in test mode.

Scroll down and select: Network mode

Scroll down and select: Automatic (it's the last item on the menu)

That's it!

I've been having problems with my phone losing network connections lately. When I follow the above instructions, it immediately work again. I'm wondering if when the network frequency changes I loose the "Automatic" status. Because GSM850 is the main frequency where I live I selected that and it works fine. Maybe the new settings need to be "burned" in. Haven't seen an option for this though.

dont worry.its only the key pard problem.you need to replace the key pad and dont forget to ask the repirer to clean the circut board.avoid hard use of key pad.take care

have you tried going to your settings and ajusting the volume frrom there?

its the problem with your phones software. I will advice you to go to any nearby repairshop & get it repaired. It will cost you around 5-10$.

It means that your bluetooth is turned on. If you don't know what bluetooth is its nothing to worry about its just a way to send information back and forth to other phones. It may slightly make your battery die quicker and you will have to recharge it. But there is nothing wrong with your phone :)

hi there i can see your problem. the solution for that is to format your phone. ok
here's the tricks:
backup contacts first. then
power off the phone first then PRESS and HOLD
"CALL KEY" + "* KEY" + "3 KEY" then power on the phone just hold and wait till NOKIA LOGO appears then release. finish, phone will be ok. you will know that you successfully format the phone cuz' all your data form the phone will be back to normal.

its the symbol for the 3g signal to turn it off go into menu then to settings, scroll across to connectivity then to mobile networks and then to gsm/3g network and select gsm only, it should then go away
