There are three things you can do: 1) Download demos. Fairly simple, go to "http://www.pspdemocenter.com/" and download what demo you want. 2) Download games via PSN. For this, you need to pay for each game you download. PSN is the playstation Network that you can access with the PSP. Find the game you want and it will download in the right place(i think, i haven't done this before). 3) Hack This will take some time, because you have to first hack your psp. Then the only thing you need to do is reformat the memory stick and place the game's iso/cso into the right folder.
There ya go, 2 legal and 1 illegal ways to download games. =D
Unfortunately, It's true. You can't get free games unless they're demos. I have searched for a way to get free games for a long time. It's not possible unless you are using a custom firmware, such as DarkAlex's custom firmware. That would require a Pandora battery and othe hacks. It may be possible to downgrade the firmware to and earlier version, but you would lose some of the new features Sony provides. You can find demo that are not on the PlayStation Network (PSN for short) on various websites. However, they are only demos.
You can download games legally (or demos) from the playstation network icon at the startup screen of your psp through a wifi access point. Full games cost money demos do not.
you can not download psp complete games in the computer but you can play demo games that can be downloaded in the net, psp 3000 can not read the iso format games only eboot format.
