SOURCE: Our Copystar CS-5035 Copier is not sending the copies to the finisher, instead they are coming out in the middle of the copier.

Press the * key and select Machine Defaults. Key in 6482, and scroll down to Select Copy Output Mode and press the Change # key. Select the desired output location.

If 6482 doesn't work use 5000

DX-3443 ink is not supply to drum

You copier does not use ink, but toner. And because the "ink" detector is on, it could be the toner cartridge is empty.
Try to remove the toner cartridge and shake it firmly. than replace it. This could help for a few copies, but you must order new toner, if the sheets of paper keep coming up blank.

I replaced the toner (because copies were very light) They still are what do I do next?

adjust the intensity from your print quality menu/
if that doesnt work clean the glass, sensors and paper path
If that does not work then replace the drum unit.

Copystar 5035 lite copies

Lite copies caused by developer unit, try to run mode 130 which will add toner to your developer, or try change the density of the copier, if non works, this means you have to change the developer unit.

Copies and prints all black

Sounds like you may not have the main corona pushed fully home or you cleaned the grid with the grid cleaner that comes with the toner cartridge. When cleaning the grid you must leave the corona unit protruding out of the copier for 30 seconds to allow the grid to dry.Failure to do so can cause arcing in the machine that will give you black copies.reclean the grid and allow to dry before re-inserting

Consumes too much ink

If you are talking about IR3300, there is no ink only toner :-)

The toner goes about 10-15 000 copies with 5% of A$ coverage.

You can also turn on the toner saver under user mode (copy sett.) but you will have light copies

Cyan Toner always prints faded.

It is the developer. All colours should be changed at the same time. This can be accessed via the right hand side of the machine, when you remove the cover. (where the output tray is)
