Used the phone to text last week. When I next checked the phone, had 'Limited Service' displayed. The signal is on full signal, but the phone logo has a red line through it. Have powered it off/taken the battery out, used another sim card - but none work. When powering hte phone up it comes up with 'searching' and then goes straight to 'limited service'. Have taken out memory card also. Can access the MP3 etc but nothing that requires a signal (text, calling etc).
I have the same phone and which has the same problem i rang customer service to see if they could help they told me to try my simcard in a different phone and the sim works no problemwithsim they told me it could be the phone that is broke only had the phone 3 month

the phone has been disconnected/barred from the network, call your newtork supplier, unless its stolen :)

Adjust for 1/8" and clean the sensor switch. Remember the main boar controller motor control the function for the display board(by power supply, electronic signals like the sensor reed, etc) Tight the flexible cable or ribbon cable and plug with carefully and paciencie, Disconnect the power cord
you have a prob in signal reception. it is hardware related. if you can open your phone, try checking its antena connection probably it lost its contact to the board. or worst it has a problem on its hardware parts.
if you can't open your phone have it repaired to technicians coz it is mostly hardware related...

my phone also kept displaying limited service but it was my sim card which was not in properly. Must have dislodged accidentally.
i have the same problem with my samsung d820 and i dont know what to do it does exactly the same thing as the first person posted
my gt t 9500 has no signal at all no limited service just wifi took it to a shop an he unlocked it again an still same problem. im trying to access the system to run the internal self test to see what fail an pass.i need help.
