I have an Asus Memo Pad HD 7 which I purchased 3 months ago. It worked wonderfully until one evening while using the pad plugged into the wall, it stopped showing the charge icon in the upper left hand corner. Also, I saw some fading on the screen around the edges, although that has not reoccurred since that one time. I have been able to charge the pad only when I turn it completely off and plug it into the wall. It will not charge when on and it does not show the icon anymore. It also appears to be taking longer to charge. I have checked the charger and it works fine with my phone. I tried a second Asus charger that came with our second tablet (same model) and the icon still does not come on. I checked status and it says the tablet is not charging when on. Our second tablet works fine, shows the icon, and has no issues. Thanks for any suggestions.

Ah ASUS. I have a Memo 10. Had the same problem when it was 6 days new. Asus has a UI that is bad.

1. First try to charge via USB to your computer. If you get any result good, leave it a bit.

2. Leave it plugged in and see if it will turn on. If you can get it to turn on ... do this.

3. Find the back up and restore/factory reset. Back up your data, pics, music. etc.

4. Do a factory reset... it will say everything of yours will be delted. Proceed.

5. Restart the tablet.

6. Go into settings and TURN OFF Asus's UI. On my Memo 10, under settings is a menu called "Asus Customized settings" in the sub-menu turn OFF "Use ASUS Quick Setting" yours may say something a bit different.

7. Restart. The look will be different but no worries. On the upper right see if your tablet it charging. It will be a battery with green and black and a lightening bolt in it. If it is charging try your wall wart charger.

1. how old is your tablet 2. have you tried another charger such as a phone charger. My blackberry charger works fine for my tablet. Also with your tablet you should have had a usb cable that connected from mini usb to the asus plug in transformer.

The difference is only in removing the back cover. Use your nails to pop the cover to prevent damage. Do not use knife. Unplug the battery for 15 minutes than plug back in and pop the rear cover back on. After plugging the charger you should have the battery symbol on the screen. Then leave on the charger until fully charged.

It should last 3 to 5 years, if you keep using it until it has less than 10% power remaining, and then recharge it to 50% to 75%.

If you keep it always connected to the recharger, the battery gets "lazy", and won't hold a charge when you need to use it on battery-power.

It did work for a while? I've had occasions where I plugged in my tablet but it didn't charge because the plug wasn't seated correctly. Also I discovered it only worked with one of the cables I have even though any mini USB cable will fit. Do you have another cable you can try to plug into the unit

check the voly out in you vcd adapter if this exist go to open you pad and rebulding soldering the conector volt in and then ready you pad work again please vote

first open your pad check the conector to volt in 4.5v maybe need a rebulding soldering do it then close your pad and work agan vote please

You will need to do a factory reset on the device. This should clear up this issue & then you should be able to download the Candy Crush application again afterwards.
