Not sure what you mean regarding 'copy from glass' - can you explain in more detail, please ?

Is the scanner light coming on? Check that first.

Most scanners cannot copy light blue lines due to the lightwave color of the scanner lamp. This is inherit in the system and cannot be fixed. Some scanners use a lamp that can see blue, but then those don't always see light red.

That's a real problem. Do an internet search, call technical support, send them an email. I ended up getting rid of a printer that had one light that always stayed. on.

Canon is always bettee than xerox in print/ copy quality

This is going to be a user program:
1) press and hold both light and dark keys
a) the 2 buttons to lighten and darken copies
b) hold both for 5 sec until indicators light up
2) use the left copy quantity key show 2
3) press your copy key
4) use the right quantity key to change to 2 (max 90 sec)
5) press the copy key

repeat step 2 but change to 3 with left quantity key
press the copy key
change right number to (4 = 60 min, 1 is default at 5 min) then press your copy key.
Once done press both light and dark key again to exit

Note*** changing shut off timer and preheat will effect copy lamp ready state. Every 60 sec or so the scanner will move and reset. Some people do not like the noise is makes all the time. If you don't you can always change it back to the defaults. 2=0 and 3=1.

If your Copying a disk, yes the disks must be the same kind. -R +R RW not always and issue but it must be CD-CD DVD-DVD and if a DVD master is DL it must be copied onto dual layer blanks.

As for manuals, try looking through the install CD, the company doesn't seem to have a website(except for email hosting). If they are not on the CD try contacting them directly

Is this a new problem or has it always been like this? The unit will throw that error message if there's a copy protection flag on the broadcast source.

To make matters worse, there are three flags a broadcaster can set. Copy Always, Copy Once, and Copy Never.

Copy Always and Copy Never are pretty self-explanatory but the Copy Once flag with this unit only works with certain media, namely DVD-RAM and DVD-RW in VR mode with CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media.

Copy Always flag should work with all media. I don't know of any easy way to figure out which broadcasts have which flag but try changing your media and recording mode first.

P.S. You may also want to reset to factory default settings by pressing FF and RW together on the player. Also make sure you're running the latest firmware.

make sure ur paper settings is ok from ur computer, i mean if u are using an A4 make sure it is well set and always try to preview ur work before printing for readjustment

Are you using a genuine OEM Sharp toner and drum? The paper pick-up rollers could use a good cleaning. Try a little WD 40 on a cotton cloth and clean the d shaped rollers. Also the feed clutch could be sticking. You have to take the back covers off to see the clutch. Clean and put some light grease on it. Easy parts to order and not expensive.
