Suggestion. Check the battery in the remote

Some inputs on tvs won't process the color signal. Try one of the other inputs. Mine does the same. If u have already used the working ones on something else, U will need a switch to select one or the other available at Radio Shack if u can find one.

The laser may be dirty on this try to purchase a CD/DVD player cleaner.

Check the format is set right either PAL or NTSC, USA is NTSC Europe is PAL

your nintendo64 is crashed i know because it happened to me now the only thing you can do is get a new one

Check the video connections on the back of the Bose unit. I have a Lifestyle 38 and had an issue with video only playing in black & white. Turned out to be a loose connection.
