Unknown if you have water heater with FV system, or older water heater. If this is new Rheem-Richmond heater, the TRD could be tripped because of clogged air intake, inadequate air supply, improper venting, overheating. Gas control valve could be bad. Ait in gas line. Those devices, when operating properly, are commonly not disconnected, but you could attempt to find the power lead and the in-line fuse to make those re-connections, also check the battery(s) in the remote. If the disconnection is more in-depth then you should acquire the installation and owners manual from Audiovox, so as to troubleshoot and maybe discover what else is disconnected.

It sounds like the machine is not picking up the dvd disk anymore. Try tilting it backward by 45 degress or so and see if that help....a pain i know but had same problem with my player after my darling 2 year old daughter damaged it...kids eh? :)
