Reduce the scan resolution or breakup the scan job to be saved into multiple documents.
It is likely that you are using 32bits OS or 32 bits office software.

A 64bits OS + 64bits Office 2010/2013 would be able save larger documents.

I tried to scan a document yet when it was saved in my file, it just appeared to be whole blank page. No text or even colored that is scanned.

I have many years repairing Canon scanners here is what I think may be wrong with yours.

Before I tell you the really bad news. Make sure you didn't install any new programs that may conflict with your scanning software. Another words an additional program that can do scanning some times the drivers for both programs don't play nice with each other. If you did then remove the last one you installed and reinstall the one you always have used in the past. Also a couple of suggestions first lower your dpi setting in your software to 200 or 300 dpi and save it at that. Then reboot (restart) your computer and try to scan something at that setting. If after you scan at that setting you get a all white page (blank page) then the bad news is the photo lens in your scanner is defective. I recently purchased a Canon Pixmar scanner/printer at walmart for under $60.00 I am saying this to you because it will be much cheaper to purchase a new scanner then to spend good money repairing the one you currently have now.

I hope this helps you out and if it did please leave me some feedback.

SCANS PAGE IN TOO LARGE

Uncompressed TIFF files are large in size. If you want Black & white and also small size save in TIFF G4 format. JPG files are small, but only color and grey files can be stored in JPG format.

I have just scanned 7 pages of a Real Estate Contract. What happened to it after the scanner scanned it? I was hoping it would go into a PDF file. I have had so much trouble with the pictures being so...

You mean the file is missing? This cant happen! Either it must be saved a a TIFF/JPG file or stored elsewhere. Search on the basis of time of scanning. Pls chk the location where the software is directing the computer to save the files.

Saving a document as a pdf

JPEG gives small size outputs as compare uncompressed TIFF. This is probabbly the best for color. Try reducing the resolution to 150-300 dpi.

Hp 2400 scanjet

To upload scanned images to eBay, simply scan your your images first and save them as .jpg files.

Remember where you have saved them,
eg My Documents/ebayimages.
Make sure the files are not too large. If they are, you may have to resize them. Really no more than 75kB and less if you have a lot to upload for one listing. If the files are too large they will take too long to load for users with a slow internet connection.

Next. go to eBay, create your listing and click upload images. A window will open which will allow you to navigate to where you have saved your image. You can also edit the brightness and sharpness of you images in eBay.

Hope this helps...
