All lights flashing red one after anouther - 2wire (1000-000057-000) Modem

If It freezes with out a message screen , just locks up , then
It's on it's way to a red light error. Sorry it's not the game.
Play any anouther game just to make sure.

If it freezes then you have several options.

1 have a local shop reflow both the G.P.U. and the C.P.U. cost is around 60.00
2 goto a youtube and type x clamp mod repair . this repair tend to be short lived.
3 call 1 800 4my xbox ( Microsoft ) repair ,cost 100.00 take's 2-3 week .

Try disconecting the batt for 3min careful on some GM models the radio will go into lock out Only the dealer can reprogram "NOT CHEAP" go to autozone have it scanned for free see if there is anouther problem they will not turn off the lite but tell you what the code sais after driving 20 miles the code should have reset there's likley anouther problem. take it to your mechanic have scanned if all else fails. there is no way to manualy turn off code on vehicle. pc should correct after problem is fixed.

Count how many times the red light flashes and how many the green light flashes.If its 1 green and 1 red thats water problems.If 2 flashes of red light check filter is clear and pump is free to turn.

The specific type of hardware failure can be determined by a "hidden" error code
Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
All four lights flashing - 0
One light flashing - 1
Two Lights flashing - 2
Three lights flashing - 3

if the security light is on leave the key in the ignition in the run position for ten minutes untill the light gose off or starts flashing make sure its the factory key or else it wont work

30 min learn procedure turn on key wait 10 turn off attemp to start leave key on wait anouther ten key off attempt to start leave key on anouther ten turn key off attempt to start should be fine.

and im sure the screen appers to be blank and the key board lights flash once and no feed back other than the fans spinning right? . this is a common problem with asus motherboards and AMD cpu's which indicates a bad motherboard or cpu if you have acces to anouther cpu try changing to that one if that doesnt work you're motherboard is gone

Then I'd say it's a reasonably sure thing that the green light is just burned out, The lights are supposed to be off at first, then red when there's a partial charge, then green when there's a full charge, then flashing between red and green when the "battery saver" kicks in. If you're seeing off, then red, then off, then flashing red, then that means everything in the charging circuit is working perfectly, there's just no green light.

Hey jlbrown55 , have you tried resetting the default settings? If not you just have the PS3 in standby (with red light on) and hold power till the systems turns on then 10 sec after and it will beep. Let it go right then and it should reset the defaults in about anouther 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, call Sony. It seems to be a growing problem. Good luck.
