No picture heard a pop , then no picture, but have audio.

Sorry bad news these TV's work off of lights that shine thru the back of the screen if you heard a pop it was the power board that turns on those lights not an easy fix sorry.

You need a new picture tube. The same thing happened to my tv. My audio went out also but for some reason when the tube was replacd it fixed the problem. The tubs are about 200.00

hello the pop you heard may have been a capacitor thats pop open or the audio output transistor blown

Ur LCD inverter board it dead.Require changing to get the picture back.

sounds like the color wheel has fallen apart.

Ur tv have burns capacitors,look for pop ups caps.

I assume this is a plasma TV? You will have a fuse blown on either the Y or Z sutain board, there is also a possibility one of the driver IC's has blown on the buffer board, this will shut down the screen & leave the audio working normally. You can check these boards which sit on the left & right hand sides of the screen.

Plasma tv's don't last long....buy a led tv.

The vertical IC are blown you gotta change it.Good luck.
