What is popping? Do you hear popping from the speakers or the back of the TV? You could have a serious issue on the power supply of the TV making this sound. Below is a link to the power supply for that TV.

I have a element model no ELDFT406 and my screen is showing picture but 1 half is darker than other can you tell me what the problem could be

First, I'm not an ELEMENT TV tech. But I do have a background in electronics.
* I checked youtube for "ELDFT406 tv" and there seems to be a lot of problems with this set. Looks like your LED back lite is not working. This can be repaired but as it come outside the USA and may not have a repair center in your area. I suggest returning it for refund or replacement. Though I would prefer a cash out and get another brand.

'pop' noise coming from upper left corner of a Samsung un55h6203af LCD TV. TV will not power on, but there are blue status lights on T-Con board.

I don't have the service manual for your set in front of me but I believe this sound is coming from the inverter board, the set takes 24 vdc from the power board into this board then increases the voltage to about 600 volts to drive the CCFL tubes in the panel, a guess would be you have a bad xfmr that is arcing on that board.

Have a element 40 inch model number ELDFT406 screen dark or dim on left side

Two things to check. The T- Con board and the back light strips. The T-con board can cause dimming on parts of the screen. A bad section of back light LEDS can do it also.

The tv wont turn on and the red led light is on?

Fault with its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

When I turn on my Viore LC24VXF60PB tv; it comes on with a blank screen for 20 sec; makes a popping sound then turns itself off.

A popping sound is usually caused by a failed power supply. Because of the possibility of fire, unplug the TV and call a service technician or, it the TV has some age on it, shop for a new one. Check out the Consumer Reports ratings before buying a new set. You'll get the best quality TV that way.

I tried to register my new Element Electonics 40" Model - ELDFT406. Says model # doesn't exist ? Also having trouble getting the tint setting.

so you shouldn\'t bother too much with it. I have the same model and it shuts itself off whenever it chooses to. I\'ve only had it since the 23rd of November, and it shut itself off after 2 days and maybe being on only 6 hours in those two days. It shut off the other day after 40 minutes. Read the reviews on Target\'s site, most people have issues.

On Facebook, the manufacturer said they would be adding this model to their site within a week, and that was around the 26th of November that they said that and it\'s still not on their site yet. I got mine at Target and I have 90 days to return it, so I\'m going to wait until TVs go on sale around the beginning of Feb and return it.

Eldft406 HD Digital LCD TV.Just got it and the sound goes in and out.

I have this same one and it shuts itself off at random, one time after only being on for 40 minutes. It started within 2 days of it being set up and it was maybe used for 6 hours total when it first shut off. The remote hardly works too. Other people have the same problems with this TV, read the reviews of it on Target\'s site. I got mine at Target so I have 90 days to return it and I\'m waiting until around the beginning of Feb. when HDTVs go on sale again. I suggest you just return it,. You can\'t even find it on the manufacturer\'s website.

42'' lcd turns on no picture/menu

Your tv is being attacked by electrical surges which seem very violent and has already damaged some logic controls. Please invest in a AC filter which will protect your tv from such spikes....... but first you need to get your tv serviced from the electrical damaged it has already suffered.
