I answered your question already-- TURN THE SCOPE around you have it mounted backwards! The eyepiece end is pointed UP. Like the picture above in your question.
My i85 camera's lcd no longer displays what you are looking at. Just a black screen. All the menu items are there and working. The battery is charged. The power button is working as well as the lens open, but no image is available just a black screen. When I I try to take pic is showed very low light but doen't show image of pic taken when I check. Please advise. This a brand new camera and was taken excellent pic as of this friday. [email protected] Mr.Tracy Johnson
If you can see images in play mode, previously taken pics, then check to see if iris is opening and closing, could be seized vanes on iris motor.
If nothing is ever visible on LCD or the eyepiece, this is what the manual has to say- remove batteries, reinsert them after a minute. If it persists press the reset button with a fine tip, its located inside the memory stick/battery cover. all your settings will be cleared.
Use your warranty if valid
Good luck
if camera will only display black screen, there's probobly some kind of blocking in the lense.
try restarting the camera. first save all data from memory-card, then restart it, unpug everything you can, take out batteries, and leave it alone for a day. if problem aint solved and you dont have the professional knowladge to open the camera and search for the disruption, you should take it to the store.
