Was working fine. Playing Netflix. Placed program on hold for few minutes and was not able to load to continue play. Had modem re-set by Time Warner Cable. Did not fix problem. Shows sites in the video choices but will not load any sites. Checked Network statis- OK, Wired set-up. Pressed Refresh Internet Content and the message says "connecting to Internet video service". It does not connect after 10 min. Presed SHOW/HIDE MEDIA SERVERS-says servers cannot be recognized. I checked connections, pressed OPTIONS and trierd to update server list. Still says servers cannot be recognized. Tried MEDIA SERVER TROUBLSHOOTING- it lists three audio "SONOS" servers that were unsuccesful. These are not connected to this system. It does not list any other servers. Don't know what to try next. Server is OK on other TV's and computers in the house. Advice?
SOURCE: Proxy Server Refused Connection
If you're using Firefox, click on "Tools" at the top of the page, click
on "Options" which is at the bottom of the list that comes up, then
click Advanced, choose Network from the four tabs below that. There
should be a sentence "configure how Firefox connects to the Internet".
Click on the button next to it that says "settings". and make sure that
"Auto-detect proxy settings for this network" has a dot in the little
circle. If not, click on it and click on OK.
You may have to shut down Firefox (your internet browser programme), then try getting in again. Should have sorted it.
SOURCE: Connecting Vostro 1400 to Sony Bravia BR6?
To properly drive your TV set, your computer will have to be able to supply 1366 x 768 with a 60 Hz refresh rate.
A resolution of 1280 X 800 is high. LCD and Plasma sets are very critical for the maximum resolution. You can go lower but not higher. If a lower than native resolution is used there may be some aspect ratio distortion, and the picture quality will be degraded.
There is a spec list at the link below:
