check the sensor under the paper, reload labels roll, labels are possible on top of sensor black plastic and not between. move gap sensor to midle of label with. check manual to know how to fit the labels thought the sensors and printhead.
Do not use a tool you may damage the printhead which will cost ofver 300 pounds to replace. First get what you can off with your fingers, then use
IPA swabs or cotton cloth soaked with white spirit to gently and
patiently remove the remains of the label and any adhesive residue.
i hadthe same issue with all my zm400's, but not my zm4 plus's. zebra gives you the run around when contact their technical support.
I tried every setting there was, ended up get rid of the zm400's, they are a piece of C#@P
It's possible the labels are not loaded correctly and are missing the label sensor. Be sure the labels are loaded all the way to the left, if you are looking at the front of the printer.
