I have a 5 year old AWA LCD TV (LTW-42D) that won't turn on. I always turn my tv off manually with the on off switch, it is never left on standby. When I switch it on, it always has the red standby light on, I then use the remote to turn it on and the light turns to green. However now when I switch it on both the red and green lights stay on and the screen stays black. I've unplugged it and plugged it back in, I've checked all the connections. Please help!

You need to open it up and checking the voltages in the power supply sections, you should have 5v (for logic circuits), 12v for sound, 24v for backlight inverter circuits. Look for bad caps with bulging tops in power supply also.
