Yes: 240 volt can be controlled by turning off 1 hot leg of 240V circuit. But the tork 101 clock motor still requires 120Volts (unless you buy a tork 240volt 201 clock motor to replace the 120volt 101)
In the wiring diagram above, it shows white neutral wire running to Tork 1101 timer terminal 2. Bring this white neutral wire from any nearby 120volt outlet. In event that you do not have this white neutral wire, you can connect ground wire to terminal 2 and that will give 120volts to the 101 clock motor. Completing circuit to clock motor using ground wire is violation of national electric code for many reasons, however the tiny clock motor only draws 3 watts, and you will remember to bring a white neutral wire to this timer at later date so you can sleep better at night.
This scanning problem usually referes to the printer not finding the host pc when try to establish contact before a scan is sent to the pc. Access the device through the browser and check in the profile for that pc in your address book whether the pc name is spelled correctly in the host field at smb scanning. Sometime it will be an option to use the pc ip address instead of the computer name ( provided it is a static ip address. ) this should resolve the problem
2) Tork 1101 120Volt timer uses #101 clock motor. If clock motor is working, then dial rotates around clockwise once each 24 hours... assuming timer is wired correctly.

ON-OFF trippers are placed on outer edge of dial to set on-off times. These tripper click on-off lever back and forth. Trippers wear out since they are intentionally made of softer metal than on-off lever
6) Cross over wiring. Tork terminal X is T101 terminal A Tork terminal 1&L are T101 terminal 1 Tork terminal 2 is T101 terminal 2

find a schematic for your tool and it will show you how things go together. you may need a press to press it out or a gear puller. if the schematic shows spendal and gear apart you should be able to remove the gear. if it shows all one piece, then you replace the whole thing.
