The most common cause of picture disappearing and returning in a Sony LCD Rear Projection TV is a faulty bulb. Replacing the bulb is the first step in troubleshooting this type of problem in KDS-60A2000 and all other Sony Rear Projection LCD TVs.

Hi,
It seems lamp/ bulb popped again, check lamp inside tv.
If tv does not show red blinking light then it would be lamp that knocked off, replace lamp in tv to fix its problem, please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.

How long have you had the set? If its been at least two years then its time for a new lamp.

If there is no picture but sound is audible then replacing the projection lamp will do otherwise, the TV requires to be diagnosed for any other hardware damages.

You need to replace the bulb...very easy. You can do it yourself.

my sony red light flash.but it will not turn on just clicks

Look carefully at the front lights. Usually when these sets shutdown they have a blink code on either the standby light or the lamp light. Update this with those counts. In the meantime, you may be seeing a problem with heat. If the lamp area gets too hot, the set will shutdown the lamp. Once the area is cool again, the lamp will fire.

Update this and we'll hopefully fix the both of them.

I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.
