Inconsistent power

If it's totally dead, the main fuse may have blown. However, since it was inconsistent before it went dead, it might lead me to think that you have a loose connection. Sometimes they heat, lose continuity, and then work again when they cool. A defective thermal protector might also cause this.

Where is the fuse for ge spacemaker jvm1320wb-002...the unit is totally dead...nothing works

It is time to replace the microwave oven, if the fuse is open you more than likely have a more serious problem that will be costly, companies only go back a few years when it comes to supply parts

Installed in 2/29/02, The unit stopped working today. Totally dead. I checked the plug (fine), checked the circuit, fine, and power to house is fine.

2 simple things to check: Inside there is a fuse (15 A) check it. Check that the TCOs (thermal cut outs) are closed ie zero resistance across them.

Does not turn on at all it's totally dead

It may be a fuse or, the power supply board. you can check the fuse by removing the cover. the (IN-LINE) fuse is located on the power supply board. check it for continuity. if the fuse is in good condition, replace the power board.

Panasonic microwave s254bf stopped working

A microwave can be dead for many reasons.

If it goes dead for a while during or after cooking then comes back on, the magnetron is probably overheating and causing the thermostat to

open. When it cools, it closes the circuit and allows power through again.

If it's random, it may be a bad connection, usually on the control board or fuse holder.

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

If the fuse is good, it may be an open thermostat or thermal cutout on or near the magnetron or on top of the cavity / body of the oven.
