If the TV set is on the same stand as the Sky box then you don't tune at all. Connect with either a HDMI cable or a SCART. Use the AV input on the TV.

If you mean you have a bedroom set, and Sky is piped around the house on RF, then that's something different.

Make sure your TV has an analogue tuner as well as the digital one used for Freeview. (check the remote for a TV/DTV button). Go in the the TV tuning menu, and do an Auto tune for both analogue and digital.

Hi, if you connect your sky box to the TV by SCART the TV will automatically switch to aux so you can watch sky that way. The same goes for DVD players, digiboxes etc, but not anything that connects with component video like my Playstation :(

On your sky remote press interactive-skyactive-help-set up my remote follow instructions. If your Model No not on list keep checking for updated info. If no joy then contact goodmans customer services.

If first we could ensure some connections are tight before moving into TV settings.
You have told me that you are using sky over an analogue connection. Make sure that these are plugged in at both ends (sky box and TV) and that your sky box is on.
Now using your TV remote, enter the TV settings (there should be a button for this specifically on your remote), and opt for Tuning and manual tuning. The layout for most TV settings are similar.
By manual tuning, you are able to select the number on which you want to view a channel (in the analogue case, Sky as a whole is considered one channel on your television)
Now you should be able to use the left and right keys on your remote to tune up and down a range of frequencies, one of which Sky will be on. Once you have found this frequency, you should store it to the channel you have selected.

To my mind, the only thing that would then cause this to reset is if you turn off your TV from the mains each time you finish using it.

Does the S/H TV have AV1 & AV2 settings and a scart socket? If so just connect the a scart lead from Sky box to TV and select AV1.

If you have no scart socket on the TV you need to connect a coaxial (aerial) cable from the sky box to TV and tune in to a channel. It is possible to tune in your sky remote if you have the TV code.

Press INTERACTIVE BUTTON., then SKY CUSTOMER SERVICES,
then TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, FOR ALL SKY REMOTES.
