My LD-12AW2 LG dishwasher is coming up with error code OE, will start ok (no leaking or anything) then gets throught to about 5 mins of operation then stops with error code OE, then if I press start again it will start back up from where it stopped but will then go back to the error code after a few minutes, will now not do a full cycle. Help!!
we have the same problem. No idea whats wrong with it. Hence why I am googling to see that the problem could be. We already had an issue with the motor last year costing us $300.
We regret this purchase.

yes i have the same issue with my LG LDF6810ST we also replaced the entire motor assembly last year so i knew it could not be the drain motor... I checked it has 27 ohms and when 120 volts applied it works.. no drain blockage as i opened every hose and took the screen off to check everything. Drains fine on gravity once you take the drain loop down to ground level. So i guess the last thing is the control board relay which must not be sending power to the drain pump when required... Hi there, The most common cause of an OE error code on a modern LG dishwasher is: 1. Blocked drain hose 2. Obstruction in the sump area (beneath the filter, which needs to be removed to check for onstruction) 3. Failing drain motor.
else you need to REPLACE THE PCB POWER CONTROL BOARD

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..
The error is DE - DRAIN ERROR , Not fully drained out in spite of 5 min. drain operation Possible causes ¥ The Filter clogged. ¥ The Drain Hose kinked or blocked. ¥ The Drain Pump/Motor or circuit is troubled. Possible solutions ¥ Clean the Filter. ¥ Remove the cause of kink or block. ¥ Replace the Drain Pump/Motor or repair the Circuit.

What did the original poster with the OE error find?
An OE error = Dishwasher not fully drained out in
spite of 5 min. drainoperation
Remove the cause of kink or block in the drain hose.
Remove the filter and confirm that there is no debris in the sump area, especially the drain pump outlet.
Check the wiring connections, especially in the wiring harness in the door panel. Look for "melting" insulation.
Measure the electric resistance of Drain Motor. (good=20-40 ohms)
Replace the Drain Motor if out of spec.
Good Luck!
this unit has an anti flood device. if it leaks it lifts a piece of plastic in the base and hits the microswitch. try leaning the unit to one side and i would put towels down. if water comes out then try a program. hope this helps.
The PE error code indicates that the machine has a water pressure sensing error.
Check and clean the filters on both sides of the inlet water line.
Good luck!
