Allied International sells them at 1-800-248-6657, drill part # JDB240R. Have the part number from your drill available (on the label on side or top of drill...a number like 33643)
You indicate that the drill is new. I'd suggest you return it for a replacement. Seems to be a defective or wrong charger. If you have problems and If you paid by credit card call the card company and have them stop payment on that charge.
Could not find one listed in the stores. You can call 1-800-248-6657 and you need part #JDB240R I'm not sure of the price but with the difficulty in just getting a battery depending on the price you may be better off purchasing a new drill.
grab the top by where the drill bit goes in and press the trigger on the drill motor. The direction of rotation will tighten or loosen the Jaws of the chuck.
