My refrigerator freezes my food solid

I have set the settings to the warmest they can be and the refrigerator still freezes everything solid. I have a 2005 6.5  Kenmore Elite refrigerator that freezes my food.  I've set the controls to the warmest but it still freezing my food.  Thinking of calling in a handyman. My approx. 10 y.o. Kenmore freezes everything that stored at the back wall. The rest it all right. Any ideas?

Food is frezzing up in refrigerator

Normally if the dial control is in the refrigerator section and is marked A,B,C,D then A will be the warmest setting. If the dial is marked 1,2,3,4 then 1 is the warmest setting. Hope I was of help to you!!

My refrigerator freezes my food solid

There are vents that allow the cold air to flow from the freezer to the fridge. If those vents become clogged with ice or fail mechanically, they can become stuck open or closed. The temp adjustment should move the damper in the vents. But if they are frozen open, then the fridge will become too cold.
