Yellow tint in center of screen about 7 inches wide. Very annoying during black and white movies. HDTV masks it very well except during lighter backgrounds.

Well it gets real compicated, if you are good with electronics and can take apart and put back together the inside the projector needs cleaned or the easy fix replace light engine about $600.00 rebuilt

My PT-43LC14 has a yellow tint on 3/4 of the bottom to top. the top 1/4 seems normal. I removed the bulb assembly and it looks OK. Any ideas. Is there anything I can doe myself. and if so what is the p/n I can buy?
if it is a panasonic pt-50lc14 then you will need a new bulb. you can find them online, do a yahoo or nextag search for the ty-la 1000 bulb and you can find them for around $100...
