Panasonic PT-50LC14 LCD rear projection

Yellow tint in center of screen about 7 inches wide. Very annoying during black and white movies. HDTV masks it very well except during lighter backgrounds.

    yes i cleaned the glass pease that the bulb shines on what else do u clean on the projection ................thanks bill

    Yes, same problem yellow tint inside full screen area that is very noticable when in widescreen, does not show with certain background colors as much as with lighter colors.

Well it gets real compicated, if you are good with electronics and can take apart and put back together the inside the projector needs cleaned or the easy fix replace light engine about $600.00 rebuilt

Yellow screen!!! I am not ready to get a new one but the whole screen has a real bad yellow tint to it. any ideas :)

the blue gun or drive has disappeared. - not necessarily terminal unless the problem has been getting steadily worse ( say over a few weeks or months)

that sounds like a very expensive repair I'm afraid

I have a panasonic rear projection lcd, it has a yellow tint around center of screen. Help

My PT-43LC14 has a yellow tint on 3/4 of the bottom to top. the top 1/4 seems normal. I removed the bulb assembly and it looks OK. Any ideas. Is there anything I can doe myself. and if so what is the p/n I can buy?

Rear Projection TV -- Bright spot with yellow edges on TV screen

if it is a panasonic pt-50lc14 then you will need a new bulb. you can find them online, do a yahoo or nextag search for the ty-la 1000 bulb and you can find them for around $100...
