Does the LCD display IDS or Ink System Failure?

If so, your unit may need service.

My HP Photosmart All-in-one 3210 will not print. The last error message says service product. Earlier I got error message oxc 18a0401 and Ink System Failure. It will not copy or print. It will scan. Is...

You can reset it by unplugging it an leaving it unplugged overnight. Then, plug it in and restart it. This may sound crazy, but could you be out of ink, or the ink cartridge may be bad. Would need more info to advise properly, such as; what were you doing when the error happened, what was the last thing you did directly before this as far as printing goes, and could a file in your program been corrupted:? Please try the simple things, then let us know, ok? Good Luk!

Photosmart 3210 - A Printer alignment failed error

Mine has done the same thing.

To fix this you have to reinstall the software, then reboot your computer.

I did that, and the printer alignment function worked fine for a while, then I started getting the same problem again, possibly after I had installed other software not related to the printer -- I don't really know.

In any event, it's doing the same thing again, so I just "cancel" the alignment and continue to use the printer. My prints are fine.

My 3210 will not scan

I now have 2 of these and both print ok but can not scan with either, never tried to till now.
I have re- downloaded the driver from HP.com via Internet Explorer (usually use Mozilla Firefox) and i get 2 diff. error messages : network busy (impossible since it is connected via USB) and the 1 at my office connects wirelessly but error message is something to do with software.
Thanks!
