Printer squeaking while printing - Aficio Ricoh Office Equipment & Supplies

If it is squeaking when it is trying to pick up the paper then check the Paper Feed system.
If it is squeeking as it tries to print. Then it will be either the Cartridge or the Drum unit.
If it is squeaking from the back of the machine as the page is fed through the fuser then check the fuser is free moving.

Replacing the faulty unit will fix the squeaking. Be that the Paper Feed System/Drum/Toner/Fuser.

Check the printer properties settings and check if there is a check mark in any of the options either spooling and squeaking and remove it but if the setting is correct. Resetting the printer will help you clear the error.

There are three rollers. One in the tray and two in the feed assembly. Could be the registration assembly but I have not replaced many of these.

If you are printing invoices from the MP tray the pickup roller might be squeaking against the separation pad (common with this design). Other common squeak is toner cartridge noise.

Before digging too deep, try removing the toner cartridge and powering on. The printer will make a short run cycle and you can listen for the squeak. Many times it's just the toner or drum and you don't need expensive repairs, just a cartridge.

remove the fuser wiper if the noise is still present remove the fuser and turn by hand. fuser bearings will cause this

Typically the squeaking comes from the toner cartridge. If you just purchased it, take it back, it's bad. If you can find an identical printer, swap cartridges and see if it makes a difference.

Hi,
As you mentioned that the printer makes loud grinding noise or squeaking when page comes out than i feel this is the noise coming out due to faulty fuser.
I want to be sure so please open the rear bin and try to print if still noise comes than i m sure it is fuser.
If there are smudges on the printed page or if some film coating is coming out with printed page than fuser roller are physically damage.
However in this case i assume fuser is faulty.
If there opening the rear bin noise goes off than top output rollers are faulty.
