I have an Epson SX200 and have replaced all ink cartridges with compatible ones but printer refuses to recognise them even when diabling Epson Status Monitor 3 as suggested by Ink Smart who supplied them. Anyone found a way round this please. Thanks. Howard
Hi Howard,
Bottom line, if the printer doesn't accept them, then they are not compatible... I'd recommend returning them for a refund and find a supplier that has tried and tested cartridges.
I'd love to be able to recommend a supplier but as I don't have an SX200 I can't... Others might be able to help if you can indicate where you are in the world as the SX200 is, I believe, zone specific.
Best of luck
I have the same problem but disabling the status monitor did not work! They are exactly the same ink I have always used too!

Thanks for the prompt reply. As it happens I gave the Ink Smart advice one more go & it worked. Open Control Panel. Select Printers/Faxes. R click on Printers icon. Select Printing Preferences; then Maintenance; then Speed Progress. Tick Disable EPSON Staus Monitor. Replace all the cartridges again and restart the printer. It worked!
I read that disabling Epson status monitor would allow me to use compatible inks but \I can't diable it, Anyone know how, please?
