Before starting, note down the IP address if its network printer..
1. Turn the product off.
2. Turn the product on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the OK button. Continue holding down the OK button until all three product control-panel lights flash once and then remain on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the button or the button until COLD RESET is highlighted.
4. Press the OK button. The product performs a cold reset and then continues its power-on sequence.
5.Chk & set I/O settings..if required..

Soft reset:
1. Press Menu. 2. Simultaneously press and then release the * button and the # button to open the developer's menu. 3. Press the < or > button until the message REINIT FFS appears on the second line of the control panel display. 4. Press . 5. The process takes approximately 2.5 minutes. During that time, the control-panel display will change several times before returning to Ready. 6. When the Ready message appears on the control-panel display, press Cancel to exit the developer's menu.

NVRAM reset:

1. Turn off the all-in-one. 2. Press and hold down the * and 5 buttons. 3. Continue to hold down the buttons while you turn on the all-in-one. Hold the buttons throughout the entire power-on sequence. 4. When Permanent Storage Init. appears on the control-panel display, release the buttons. 5. When prompted, set the language and telecom country/region. 6. Allow the all-in-one to return to Ready before using it.

It sounds like the refresh rate is set to high. Since you do not mention what OS is installed I have listed information on how to change in Windows,XP.
Start the computer and press the F8 key. Choose Safe Mode. Once the system gets into Windows follow the steps below and then restart the computer. If this does not resolve your issue email me at my email address below and include your OS information.

The diagnostic test is used to check individual component function only. TO START THE TEST: • Turn the Program Knob to the start position, Spin Only. • Press Start/Pause to start the cycle and save it. • Press Cancel to stop the cycle and turn off the LEDs. • Press Cancel again to turn on the LEDs. • Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Options and Start/Pause buttons until LEDs start sequentially chasing, then release buttons. 1. All the LEDs will sequentially light. Pressing a button below a light cluster will light all the LEDs in that cluster at one time to confirm functionality. 2. Turn the program knob (1) click clockwise from the start position. The hot water solenoid will activate and hot water should enter through the detergent compartment. 3. Turn the program knob (2) clicks from the start position. The bleach water solenoid will activate and cold water should enter through the bleach compartment. 4. Turn the program knob (3) clicks from the start position. The bleach and the wash water solenoids will activate and cold water should enter through the softener compartment. 5. Turn the program knob (4) clicks from the start position. The door lock solenoid will deactivate and the loading door can be opened.When the door is opened, the drum light should turn on. 6. Diagnostic Test:
The diagnostic test is performed by using the Program Knob. To START THE TEST:
? On non-digital display models, turn the Program Knob to start position, Drain/Spin.
? On digital display models, turn the Program Knob to start position, Touch Up. (NOTE: If the model has a timer dial that can be rotated 360?, turn the Program Knob to start position, Drain/Spin.
? Press Pause Cancel to turn off LEDs.
? Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Option and Pause Cancel buttons until LEDs start sequentially chasing, then release buttons.
1. All the LEDs will sequentially light. Pressing a button below a light cluster will light all the LEDs in that cluster at one time to confirm functionality.
2. Turn the program knob (1) click clockwise from the start position. The hot water solenoid will activate and hot water should enter through the detergent compartment.
3. Turn the program knob (2) clicks from the start position. The bleach water solenoid will activate and cold water should enter through the bleach compartment.

Exiting Diagnostic Mode
There are two options for exiting the Diagnostic Test mode and returning the washer to normal operation:
a) Unplug the power cord, wait 5-8 seconds, then reconnect the power cord OR
b) Turn the program knob clockwise 2 or 3 clicks after the Start Position. Press Options and Pause Cancel buttons together for a few seconds until wash cycle LEDs appear. If a situation arises where you cannot exit the Diagnostic mode as described above and the bank of 5 LED?s on the right end remain ON regardless of Program Knob position, a combination of pushed buttons may have caused the control to enter a special factory test mode. Disconnect power to reset the control to return washer to normal operation is this occurs.
To clear latest stored error code:
Place the control into Diagnostic test Mode.
? Turn the program knob clockwise 9 clicks from the Start Position. The control will signal the last error code.
? Press and hold the Options and Pause Cancel buttons for 3 seconds. The code will be cleared.
? Exit Diagnostic Mode to return the washer to normal operation.

Try a soft reset first, if that doesn't correct it try a hard reset. BE SURE and Save Data before th eHard Reset, it clears all waypoints and such.
