Change password new wireless

The Chromebook has a wireless network interface.
So, it does not connect to your computer.
Instead, it connects to your wireless router.
If you do not remember that password for your wireless network,
you need to "reset" your router to its "factory-settings", and then recreate the name of your wireless network, and enter a new password, to define it.

Your problem doesn't make sense. You cannot try the password too often. Try a factory/hard reset.

By lock I assume you mean secure it.
To do so do the following -Plug an Ethernet cable from your computer into one of the ports on the back (not the one labeld WAN) -Verify your default gateway. Open a command prompt by click "start" > run or "windows" button, and type cmd -type ipconfig and remeber the default gateway should be like 192.168.0.1 -open a web browser and enter that number into the address bar -you will be prompted for a user and password. (should be either admin, no password or admin/admin) -Go to the wireless > wireless security tab Select your security Choose WPA2 with PSK - create a strong password alphanumeric - Save and you are now "locked" You will then need to go into Network Connections/Network and Sharing and enter the password you created.

by goin to gmail website. try to change the password using your security question's password provided by you at the time of sign up.

if you dont remember that answers. create a new gmail account then sign in to your phone.

1) Switch On the connected router enter the IP address 192.168.0.1 in the address bar at the top of your browser.
2) Give admin as username, leave the password blank, click ok.
3) In the left panel, select Wireless to open the Wireless Settings.

Your password would only be known to you. If you do not have it, you need to reset the router and start again. Do remeber to set system name, wireless security and change channel of wireless to 11 or so to not conflict with landline wireless phones.

Well, unless you remeber it you cannot get it. Your option is to reset the router and start over. Give new password and reset the sytem name, and remeber to secure the wireless portion.

when i first got my xbox i put family settings on and i dont have live. i cant remeber the password or the reset password. what should i do?

You can find the wireless security password by accessing the router's admin page http://192.168.1.1 then go to the wireless security tab. There you can find the password. If you can't login to the router's admin page, you can reset the router by pressing the reset button at the back of it for 20 seconds then power cycle the router by turning it off for 10 seconds.
