Phone message light flashing green - Alcatel Advanced Reflexes 4035 Corded Phone

It is a British Telecom phone, so is unlikely to be fully compatible with Virgin phone service. The message is held with them, and just alerts to a message being there.

The phones led light will flash green when you have a new message or a missed call. After reading the new message/missed call, the flashing will stop. hope this helps

M7310 does not have a red light.
And even if it did you answered your own question....you left that phone a message so now it flashes to let that person know they have a message.
F65 to see who left message
F#65 to clear MSG and/or light.

On the attendant phone:

1. Press the Message key on the Attendant Add-On Console.

2. Press the DSS key on the Attendant Add-On Console that is associated with the station where Message Waiting is to be canceled.

check the dial tone is not set to pulse also delete any messages from bt 1571 and the light will stop flashing

All you have to do is dial "0" for the operator and it should clear the green light.

It is a feature of the attendant to notify that you received a hand written message while you were out. Practically no one uses this feature anymore.

For the green light, you can turn it off from DSS. On the bottom left hand side of DSS, it is a message button. You can press the button and then your extension button. The green light will go away from the DSS and on your phone. I hope this helps.
