Hi Tarja, your question is 4 years old, but here is the answer: You've probably seen the odd shaped tiny screws on the underside of the train. Ignore them - they require specialized tools and only lead to the wheels and gears. You just need to insert a small cross-tip screwdriver into the exhaust funnel of the engine and remove the screw completely. The black front of the engine comes off and reveals AAA micro batteries which you gently shake out of the engine and replace. As ever so often - once you know how to do it, it is very easy. And - no, I didn't find out myself either *grin*
I mean this is not a filter error and i think the power main board inside on front bottom EL110 has an defekt and must change.
Or you can post the problem on my board www.avpc.de with photos for solving together and find another cheap used power board for it ...
The Acer One comes out of the box with a 3 cell battery - you can buy 6 and 9 cell on Ebay.
You can load XP on your netbook and it will work OK with 512MB RAM, but will work better with a 1GB RAM installed as well. To upgrade to XP go to this site, it will give you various options of installing XP.
Well maybe you got a corrupted file on it. Scan your files with your anti virus software. If that isn't the case then change the batteries (AAA). If none of these solutions work then go to some technical support and ask if they can open it. Mine is having headphone problems so these things have problems quite oftenly.
