Your problem appearing after the TV has 'warmed' up indicates a faulty electronic circuit board/power supply: if not under guarantee, it may not be cost effective to get it repaired.

Other than taking the television to a repair shop not much can be done. I recommend a new television. Excellent brands are Sony, and Samsung. Both brands are quality televisions. Best of all you can order them on Amazon.com for lower prices.

If the TV does the same with two different DVD players, it must be a menu setting on the TV. Look through the TV menu options.

Intermittent 3 inch green vertical line-5 inches from right side

it you have a repair skills you need to open the TV and make sure all the ribon connectors around the circuit boards are proper connected
and if all seems to be ok, the DG board will need to be replaced.

If you dont have any repair skills I would recommend you to take you TV to a repair shop since this is complex repair

Problem with panasonic tv

It is usually caused by problems from lead solder that sometimes does not connect, so there are some points of the components that are not connected with lead solder to the circuit. if it appears vertical line means from the IC (integrated circuit ) Vertical, you can solder all the points in the IC ( Integrated circuit ).

Black line running horizontally across TV screen

A line on an LCD, either horizontal or vertical usually means the video driver board is defective or the screen is defective, does it show up as black even on a dark screen? That means a line of LCD "shutter"s is not working and there is a problem that cant be fixed by a reboot or channel change. Bummer.

Panasonic TX-29AD2DPM Serial no LE-7511621

No Colin, Its not the Tube. The problem is a vertical sweep falure. it could be just a driver/output IC or could also have a problem In the sweep power supply where The voltage that supplys the B+ going to the vertical IC could also be defective. Its not a repair a user should attempt to do as it's soldered into place and you can get hurt if not experienced with these types of TV repairs. As to the cost It depense on how much you like the set and if you can find an honest repair person to do an honest job? Good Luck
