Might not be my exact TV

It could be anything. Have you tried checking that you have everything properly connected; I.e. sometimes you might have connected something wrong. Or make sure that both devices are compatible with each other. Or maybe you're just using the wrong cable/cord for the job.

How many sets RCA ports (for Video 1 / Video 2 so on and on) does your TV have?

You might want to try a different cable first. If it works fine with other devices, then it's probably not your TV.

It will depend on what kind of video cable you have for the Genesis. It will either use an RF / COAX cable like your cable TV may use, or the RCA style cables, RED YELLOW and WHITE. If it's the cable TV style cable you will need to plug that into the COAX in on your TV. Some newer TVs don't have this, so you may need to plug it into your cable box or an old vcr to get it to work....

unfortunately, microsoft has it set up so that xbox console will only work with proprietary hardware. either get a long cable or the wireless adapter.

i have the same exact problem with mine i tried
(Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio-> Then in the speaker settings box click advanced -> then click the drop down bar and click monitor speakers.) it didn't help for me but you might find it help full..

We hooked it up with another DVD player, no difference, We used another TV, worked good. We changed all the cable cords, and made no difference. It comes right down to that TV. yes from aboe it is 100% sure that trouble is in tv. every channel is blury and has a trail. it is due to focus of your tv is not ok 1 adjust focus control 2 focur wire going to crt base might be loose due to some foreign material deposited on crt base. 3 defective crt base. 4 if tv is old there might be possibility of crt getting weak. hope this will help.
