Left the tv on while we were gone. Came home, had sound, no picture. Shut off, never turned back on. Power light goes to full red when "on" then flashes five times when shut off. Have opened up the back and all the capacitors appear normal. Don't get relay click when trying to start tv either
The fault is with its main board itself. Troubleshooting to this board is not an easy work to a user can do. It will be best to contact any service technician. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan
When you say main board you are talking about the power supply board?
No. It is about the digital processor board. Power supply board is OK; but it detects a short circuit from the main digital board, that is why the Standby light blinks.

SOURCE: Samsung LCD TV shut off, wont turn back on...?
My samsung lcd is doing the same thing, and I have been told that the power supply is bad. But apparently samsung won'r sell you one.
SOURCE: samsung tv turning off by itself
I had a similar problem where my 61" Samsung DLP was turning itself off very frequently I had resolved to try replacing the bulb. I called a local TV repair place to see if they had my buld in stock. The guy I spoke to actually told me how to fix my problem! There is a little blue switch behind the bulb access door. The inside of the door has a little piece that presses the switch down. The switch is supposed to work correctly weather the switch is in the up or down position but samsung forgot to take expansion from heat into account. If the switch is held in the upper position by the door and the plastic expands to a certain point, it triggers the set to shut off. This does not occur of the switch is held in the lower position. What you need to do is take the access door off and put it back on by sliding it into position from above. That will hold the switch in the down position, eliminating the problem. My set has not **** itself off ever since.
SOURCE: Samsung LNR408DX/XAA Wont power up
I had the same problem with a 52" Samsung LCD. I found 2 electrolytic
caps with bulging tops on the power supply board. (see pic). I looked
to be the 5v section but I'm not sure. I got replacement at Fry's for
$1.90 each. All is well!

SOURCE: samsung lcd tv ltm1755b won't turn on (power light stays red)
I had a 26" Samsung LCD that wouldn't turn on, and the red light stayed on too, so I knew it was getting power. I found some info out there and figured out how to fix it. Also made a video to show others. I'm a complete newb so if I can do it, I know a lot of others can too. Make sure you research stuff and be safe when fixing it. I take no responsibility if you mess up your own TV! But like I said, I fixed it, so I figured almost anyone can. Also, it only cost me $1.40.
