The batteries are at end-of-life OR your charger has failed.
Forst replace the batteries... they are MOST likely bad. Charge the new ones before using.

This worked for me (this solution was posted on another thread). Unplug the base and take out the headset batteries. Wait 30 seconds. Reconnect. Turn on head set. I could hear immediately!

As long as it is NOT a wireless or noise cancel type, try looking at my tip on headphones dodgy cable/plug problems.

Hi,
Try to unplug the plug (jack) or loosen it or move slightly within the jack holder, if you get the sound back and looses if you move your hand then its the jack is causing the problem.
If any of the above said is not making any difference in the headphones left ear then the left speaker is bad defective.
If you can get the speaker with same watts and ohms etc then you can replace the left ear speaker with it with the help of a technician or better get a new headset.
