My washing machine is not going round. It fills and empties as normal but will not spin. I tested it with an empty load and it spins as normal. Any help would be much appreciated. It is a Siemens Siwamat 2105.
Sounds like a worn belt, broken couplin, or bad bearing. Lift lid, hold inner tub, turn clockwise then anti-clockwise. Should spin only one direction. If drum turns in both direction, bearing is bad.
Hold agitator, turn clockwise then anti-clockwise. if it turns freely in any direction, couplin is bad.
in both cases you need professional help to replace faulty part.
Check for a capacitor on the motor if it has one, replace that to start with, that what it sounds like
