1) you must get the support via ONLINE chat from the manufacturer to see if possible to play blue ray disc 2) the same way get the manufacturer some schem how to connect the speaker without the player.

God bless you

SOURCE: Hi, Can I buy

They are available from panasonic. I have replaced many. There is a skill level needed to work on one of these. You should get the service manual also.

The player will not play dvd's or cd's, what might be the problem? The stereo will work, but the discs will not play.

Hello,

You probably need to have the DVD optical lens to be cleaned. You can also try to buy some CD lens cleaner discs from best buy.

I hope this helps. Thanks and good day.

Won't play

This DVD home theater system has a defect that is not being addressed by panasonic. The Optical lens and or DVD Motor will give out after 2 to 3 years for no reason. It will start saying "No Disc" and will not play any DVD or CD. To repair this it will cost you £100.00 to £135.00 to repair. An authorized panasonic repair company told me that if I repair this it will last me up to 3 years and I would have to fix the DVD Player again. The dvd player model number is SA-HT70 and the number for the system is SC-HT70. The SA-HT70 is the dvd player that is not reliable. Without warning in 2 to 3 years you will have to repair the optical lens or dvd motor which will not be covered by Panasonic.
