The screen is defective simple as that is my guess.

Try resetting by unplugging it for a minute. If that does not work, post the model of the unit.

Use a straightened paper clip inserted into the hole. Push to reset.

Depends if it is a indoor or outdoor timer. If it is indoor you can easily find a 24V transformer at the local hardware store. If it is a indoor timer the transformer is usually not worth trying to purchase as it will be a manufacturer item usually costing almost as much as a new timer. Replace the timer.

You need to replace your controller.
