Ebay lamps can cause this as they are not originals also the balast supply, is gas discharge type, can fail.

TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front.

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. if you hear chirping or a loud buzzing, you have a bad colorwheel. the lamp won't turn on if the colorwheel doesn't spin as fast as it needs to. if you don't hear anything like that, you need a new power supply. the lamp striking takes a lot of power, and if the power supply can't handle it, it shuts off. you can get the part from an infocus service center and replace it yourself, or send it to them for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

The color wheel needs replacing. Thats causing the whining and it will also make the lamp light blink.

if you don't hear a high-pitched whir, the colorwheel needs replacing. if you do hear it, the lamp may need replacing. if the lamp is new, there is a power supply problem.

Have you replaced its Lamp?
Symptoms shows TV needs new lamp.

This is the lamp going bad. For some reason, it doesn't spit out that lamp error, it just keeps refiring the lamp and it just cycles forever. When the lamp totally fails, you will get the lamp led lit. Replace the lamp to resolve.
