Invicta Grand Diver Automatic won't run

Grand Diver. Automatic. Bought it second hand, so I don't know the actual age of the watch. It worked fine for six months. Now even if I shake it for literally minutes and minutes, it runs for just a little while and quits. Sometimes no more than an hour or two.

I recently bought an invicata 8926A. It looks great, but I'm having some trouble winding it. When I wind it by moving it round and round for a few seconds, it runs for a while. But when i rest my...

This is certainly not normal. I had an automatic watch and because I wore it daily, I was unaware that is need any special treatment.

Automatic watches usually run for 2-3 days before stopping (if fully wound) and thrive on being used. My automatic watch was unsatisfactory when I bought it (new but very cheap) and I had it cleaned and it gave years of excellent service after that- perhaps that is your problem. I suggest that you contact their service center for advice.

If your watch is new then you should register it on their web site (go to http://www.invictawatch.com/invicta/services) and send it to them for repair.

If it is out of warranty, then you will see a price list on the above page (this is very unusual!) which will give you an indication of what you may have to pay to get it fixed.

My date always chages during the day insted of night why?

Your watch changes at 12 O'clock but it does not know which 12 O'clock it is set at!

Wind your watch forward 12 hours and it will then change at midnight.

Brand new today out of the box and will not run Tried winding and shaking. Second hand will not move.

mcdevito75 here, Use the waranty info from the box and call Invicta. In the meantime, turn the winer stem and hold the watch close to your ear do you hear a clicking?? Some automatic watches will only wind while they are in motion on your wrist, Hold the watch in your hand a turn your hand in circles and see if the watch starts up.

I have an invicta pro diver watch with stainless steel band. I need to buy 2 or 3 links and pins. Would a new band be better and where do I buy either item? Ilive in area code 75601, Longview, Texas. Thank...

I know of a couple places in San Antonio and Austin that would be able to custom fit your new band or help you with a repair.

Precision Time

They are located in the malls in either city. They also have a web site.

PrecisionTimeCo.com

You can try to contact Invicta for new links and they may have them depending on the age of the model. Look at your owners manual for contact information.

Invicta model 3209 watch

Your watch is fitted with chronograph movement 5040D made by Ronda (Switzerland). If you take a closer look, then you will realise that the subdial at 3 o'clock is counting seconds allready. This is your seconds dial, not the big one.
The big seconds hand actually is the chronograph hand (stopwatch) and, when activated, works together with 1/10th counter.
Follow this link and see for yourself:

http://www.ronda.ch/e/index_bedienung.html

Find movement 5040D and click on INTERACTIVE version.

How to set a invicta 3443 watch up

To set the time pull the crown out to the first position and set the time by turning the crown. Pull the crown out to the second position to set the date. Since this is a diver model you will need to unscrew the crown before it will pull out. Make sure you replace the crown and screw it back down for a good protective seal.

The alarm sets the same way. Unscrew the button to set.
