If this is a Windows 8 upgrade, it's a common problem. First you have to ID the Unknown device in Device Manager with a yellow triange. Take a look at this forum: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and-Software/acpi-ven-hpq-amp-dev-0004/td-p/2537553 You can try this software:

    HP 3D Drive Guard.

HP now addresses this issue directly
w8 or 10 upgrades cause this.
and 100% useless on any SSD only PC.
ok, no HDD present then DG is useless.

HP Accelerator Error in Windows 10 ' How Do You Fix?

no pc stated, hp what? guessing laptop.
windows 10

tell what the PC does good and bad both.
boots ok.
logs in ok
desktop works OK?
my guess is you meant Accelerometer dead, or the thing called
drive Guard,

most HP pCs 10 year old fails this if you upgrade it to w10
this is the HP only software that protects the HDD if Laptop is dropped.
if the PC has SSD upgrade this software is useless.
if is real HDD, the w7 version has 50/50 chance of working.
so tell more ,get more.

ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_0004

hp 3d drive guard, its a function of the laptop where if the laptop happens to be dropped, the hard drive will immediately go into park mode (Like how the car with built in sensors to auto brake to detect ahead of time accidents).

The driver can be downloaded from HP website or the easier thing is to get it from Windows update itself.

Please check the details of your devices, and post the info here, so I and other helper can help you to look for the proper drivers:
[Start] Control Panel, System, Device Manager, [Component Name], [Component with Exclamation], [Right click], Properties, Details tab, Property pull down; chose Hardware IDs and write down the VEN and the DEV sections in the Value's box (including the VEN and the DEV words)

I want audio driver for intel[R] Core[TM]2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHZ free

first off the audio in a PC isn't controlled by the CPU to find what audio device you have follow instructions below

right click my computer and go to manage
in the left hand column click in device manager
in the middle window now click sound, video and game controllers
right click on the one you think it is and go properties.
then click on details and change the drop down menu to hardware ID's you should be presented with something like this

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0880&SUBSYS_08800000&REV_0905

what you are after is the VEN and DEV numbers so for this it would be

VEN:10EC and DEV: 0880

take the numbers you have and go to the website pcidatabase and search the VEN number to find the manufacturer and then the DEV to find device you will have to check that the VEN and DEV numbers are the same.

once they are this should be all you need to know. now you need to start searching the web with the information you have obtained and OS you are using

Local area connection driver download

unfortunately there isn't a website that just hosts drivers for all technology but there is something that can help.

first right click on my computer and go manage, once their go to device manager and then to the device that is missing the driver so this will be your LAN connection.

right click this and go to properties then to the tab details
in the window below there is a drop down menu change this to hardware ID.

and it should look something like this
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBSYS_0C24105B&REV_10

what we are after is the numbers after VEN and DEV so:
VEN 10EC
DEV 8169

the VEN number is for Vendor I.e. who makes it the next is what device it is.

armed with both of these go to pcidatabase and search the VEN and then DEV till you find the numbers that match once you have this copy what it says the device is, paste this into google and then add driver and what ever OS it is so example

Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family PCI Gigabit Ethernet NIC windows 7 driver

of course if you use a 64bit OS check that it is a 64bit driver

I have an HP Pavillion a1647c that I had to reinstall the OS (MS XP Media 2005) and I got it all running but I can find the drivers for the 9 in 1 memory card reader (sd card/memory stick/etc) and in...

its old
HP does not support it.
finding old XP drivers is not no easy
HP does not have them!
MS does not, MS shut down Plug and play on line for XP 3 years ago and now VISTA. this spring.
why run XP? nobody is now, wiki that.
why not get W7 and load it, it is supported.

what 9 in 1 reader, surely you can be more clear on that.
it has makers name and model
if real old its junk now, buy a new one,
but wait, nobody supports XP now.
XP Plug and play for USB is dead too.

do the DM, on the Unknown yet, and do properties
on it, then do tab.Details, then pick Hardware IDs
see the 2 codes there.
ven
Dev
ven is makers code
dev is device code
this and this alone tells what it is (if the device in hand is blank (no makers name or model there)
post the ven and dev and we can tell you what it is.

I don't have driver for this device... and in device manager didn't show that i have no driver...

What system, what operating system, what device???

Go to Device Manager, right-click on the unknown device, Properties, Details tab, then change drop-down menu to Hardware Ids. Take the VEN and DEV ID's to PCIDatabase.com and see what device it is, then go to the manufacturer's website of that device to look for a driver - or get the driver from the PC manufacturer's website (Dell, HP, etc.). You can also post the VEN/DEV ID here.
