You can contact the manufacturer to see if they have any troubleshooting tips but it sounds like the dvr is shot. Sometimes the manufacturer will take them back and repair them, if there's been a recall on that particular model they will repair or replace for free!

Hold the power button (in) while (pushing) the volume button up and down repetitively as fast as you can. In the meantime plug in your phone. Even if it does not indicate your phone is charging, the phone is charging. Also, this phone can only tolerate so many apps.
I had the "Refresh Database" problem with my C250, it just sat there after turning it on! However, the GOOD NEWS is, I corrected it! First I connected it to my PC, then FORMATTED the unit. This gave me an empty player that at least would turn on. Then I downloaded the Sansa "Updater" from the SanDisk website. After setting up the updater software, I connected the C250. It automatically checked for any new firmware, and loaded it into the player. After that I restarted the C250 and it again came up OK without any music loaded. The last thing I did was to load only 1.8 GB worth of music files. My take on the problem is that if you overload the memory, or interupt a file while loading, then the "datbase" function never gets done. I've had mine running for about a week now without problems! Hope it works for you too! <Good Luck> David

Well, not a long time ago I have had a similar trouble regarding to my Texas Instruments Calculator Voyage 200. It was forzen too doing some calculus. Also, one friend had a similar problem regarding to the fozen calculator...
I fixed it by reading in the manual that it can be reset!!!...There is a combination of keys that you can press to reset the calculator...this obligates the calculator to load the OS from the EPROM memory where is this basic sofware!!!... If I do not remember wrong the keys are: 2nd + Lock + on/off keys!!! But try to look for the manual and in some part of it is those key combination!!! Good Luck!
