There is what is called a "stage stop" screw. Its purpose is to limit the specimen from rising high enough to contact the objective lens. The "stage stop" screw is directly behind the black stage platform in plain sight and very easy to access. It is a thumb screw and sits vertically. Simply loosen it a bit to allow the specimen to rise high enough to focus.

Check the cable connections, a cable might be loose or just disconnected.

try to rewind it. with help of expert..

There is two kind of eye-piece in microscope one is (push in ) and second one is tread mounted.

As per my i know you have push in eye piece.

See in side that cylinder where you are pusing in this eye piece there is two jows is there it resist to come in as well as when you take it out.that pressure of jows you should be increase.

your problems will short out.
