Cannot figure out how to connect my new sound bar to my older TV

I have a 2005 Mitsubishi WD-62527 rear projection TV. I just bought a Samsung Sound Bar (HW-F450) and cannot figure out how to connect them together. Is my older HDTV compatible? If so, how do I connect the two? I do not have an optical digital audio port that I can find, or ARC.

Use a high speed HDMI cable form the TV to the sound bar. HDMI cables carry sound as well as picture signals. Refer to your TV's user manual http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/52527-62528.pdf
and the Samsung product support page http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/HW-F450/ZA for assistance

7.1 surround sound will not work with a coax connection OR Composite (yellow video with Red and White audio). You either need to use an HDMI cable or the Component connection (Red, Green, and Blue connection along with the Red and White audio or the optical audio connection).

Tv 62527 light goes off when after a few seconds when turned on

This is generally a Power Supply problem, usually the SMPS so it's replacement or repair.
