120v plugged into 220v outlet

At this point, I would say the motor is the first thing to replace, after you've checked any fuses.



If you want to test the motor first, then you need a resistance meter
on low ohms. Test across the two wires feeding the motor, making sure
there's nothing else in parallel with the motor (otherwise, disconnect
the wires and test the motor). If your resistance shows either
continuity (0 ohms or low ohms) or a high resistance (1000 ohms or
more) than your motor is done and either needs thrown away or rewound.

You will have to remove wires from each of the parts and ohm them out for open circuts on the user side. A part like the timer will also ahve switches that close and open. With the extra voltage these could weld closed or burn out. And there are several of them that open and close depending on the sequence of the timer and where the timer is set for. If you plug it up and turn it on the timer will advance if its ok but you probably need to disconnect the motor first. MArk all the wires and when removing it chck the switch see if its burnt up then the motor windings see if they are as well.

Hate to say it but this will be rather labor intensive to check every part. Your better bet might be to lok for a good used washer semilar to the one you have or just wipe it off and get a new washer.
