Lightning struck directv dish and got the directv box and the hmdi ports on the tv. Is there and easy diy way to fix it and if not would it be recommended to have it fixed or buy a new tv?
I"d replace the tv. No telling what else got zapped. Insurance?

I am facing similar problem showing "no video signal" following failed attempt to connect Wii. Even after trying to reset, it won't come out again.. I am totally at loss? Toshiba Customer Desk has not been connected well and appreciate any advise.

If you hooked up with set and or a box on that may be the issue--HDMI does not like connections being made with units on.
disconnect power from set and or box if used for a while and then with HDMI reconnected power up the set and or box.

I do not believe it can be fixed, but you can check it out with any local electrician.
