SOURCE: Sharp AR-M237 Error Code H4-21

-H4-21 means:Sub heater lamp abnormally low temperature detection. The setup temperature (about –25°C: Sim 43-1-1) is not reached within the specified time (about 32sec) from turning on the power ON SW. (When the temperature falls below 140°C in the standby mode.)
-Causes:
Sub heater thermistor defect
Sub heater lamp failure
Sub thermostat failure
Control PWB failure
-Check the sub heater lamp blinking with SIM 5-2-2.
When the lamp blinks normally: Check the thermistor and the harness. Check the MCU PWB thermistor input circuit.
When the lamp does not light: Check for disconnection of the heater lamp and thermostat. Check the interlock switch. Check the power PWB and the MCU PWB lamp control circuit.
Clear the display of self-diagnostics with SIM 14.
The H4 errors will not reset by themselves. You must enter service mode to reset this error even if the problem has been repaired. The reset process is outlined below (DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FUNCTIONS IN SERVICE MODE):
Press the following sequence: "#/P" "*" "C" "*"
Type in 1 4
Press start
hit 1 for yes

Unit should power off and the restart.
If the error code recurrs ther are other problems.

SOURCE: H2-00 Error Code, cant clear

Sounds like a tough one, take off the back cover and make sure all connectors are making good contact. You may have a fault in the main logic board.
This might need a tech to check out.
Hope that helps...

Sharp MX-2600N has an error code C4-02 what does this mean

Hello Gail85,
According to the Sharp manual it says the following for error C4-02;

PTC heater open trouble

Causes

The PTU unit is not installed, or the heater line conduction trouble. PCU PWB trouble. Connector, harness connection trouble.

In other words, The fuser assembly has an open connection whether it is the springs on the ends not connecting correctly or most likely the PTC /Fuser assy is bad due to the heater filament is open needing the unit to be replaced by Sharp.
Good Luck!

AL1610 code h4

This problem is fuser (the section that gets hot) related. It could be one or more of the following things :
Thermistor failure
Heater lamp failure
MCU PWB failure
Thermostat failure
Power supply failure
Interlock (door) switch failure

It could be that the thermistors(monitoring temperature) are just dirty and need cleaning or the thermostat has blown. THe heater lamp inside the fuser roller may have stopped working or their is a power supply issue to the fuser.
You could try pulling the fuser unit out of the copier and checking it / clean it. With these models its usually easier and cheaper to buy a whole new fuser unit.
You could try resetting the fuser error code in service mode.
To enter the service mode press the following keys
Clear (then) Density select (then) Clear (then) Density select (while in this mode do not adjust anything else as this could further damage your system)
enter "14" (with the copy quantity keys) and press copy key. Now restart the copier.

H 4 code flashing

The H4 code indicates the fuser may have blown the thermistor. It also could be a false error code. Try this series to clear the error and if it returns, then you'll know for sure the fuser is the culprit. To reset press the following buttons:
  1. Press this sequence: CLR-Exposure-CLR-Exposure
  2. The display will go blank
  3. enter "14", press "PRNT"
  4. Press "CLR" several times to exit.
Give that a try and good luck.

Sharp Copier AR -407 Error code H3-00

H3-00 means there was a problem in the fuser unit of the copier - a temperature problem. The correct temperature is not reached within a certain time.
It could be a thermostat or thermistor problem - both monitor temperature. you could remove the fuser unit and make sure these items are clean - no build up on them. there should be a center and side thermistor.
You can reset the error code in SIM mode by pressing the following keys one after the other "P" "interupt" "C" "interupt" then 14 and start/copy key. confirm if required. make sure the copier is restarted afterwards.
If the error persists then you may need new thermistors.
Hope this helps.
