The following information comes from the Panasonic Website:

Recovery DVDs are available by mail for select Toughbook® products. Windows® XP back up service is only available to customers who purchased Panasonic computers with XP downgrade rights. Windows XP Backup Image and Windows 7 Recovery DVDs restore a PC to its original factory image. The standard Panasonic factory image includes the Windows operating system and all drivers/applications originally installed by Panasonic.

Most 2011 models of Panasonic Toughbook computers now have a Recovery partition on the hard drive instead of a Recovery DVD included in the laptop box. The only exceptions are the Toughbook F9, H2 and U1 Ultra which will continue to ship with a Windows 7 Recovery DVD. Besides restoring the computer to its original factory image, the Recovery Partition can also be used to load 64-bit Windows 7 Professional (32-bit ships by default from Panasonic).

You can order the Recovery Disks here:

Good Luck!

Restore factory setting

John,

Dell Factory Image Restore The Dell Factory Image Restore tool replaces PC Restore. Access it from the F8 boot menu while booting up.

Once you have all the options on the screen, choose repair your computer and follow the prompts to restore.

CAUTION:
This utility formats the operating system hard drive partition prior to restoring the factory image. This means data on that partition is deleted and cannot be recovered.
If the customer creates a secnd partition with a third-party utility, Dell Factory Image Restore is not affected as long as the image partition is not removed.

Thank You,

Hi,
I see, Follow the details below to be able to do a Factory Restore on your Acer.
  • Click on Start
  • Select and Click Programs
  • Look for Acer Recovery Management and click on it
  • There will be a dialog Box on the Bottom click "Restore"
  • Then click on Restore System to Factory Defaults
  • Then Click YES if you are sure to restore the system and that you have already backed up any personal or important documents
  • After clicking YES click on START to begin the process of restoring the system back to Factory Defaults
Note: If the Original Hard drive Settings/Partition have been deleted or changed it is possible the Restoration to Factory Defaults may not work.
I hope that this will help your restore your machine to Factory Defaults.
Have a nice day,
