Kenmore Elite Oasis 27062, the lid lock broke

I would think the lid would unlock once you unplugged the machine. Check your owner's manual for any kind of "emergency reset" procedure. Perhaps the lock mechanism is jammed. Have you tried pressing on the lid or tapping it to see if that frees the lock?

Door unlock failure
Excessive force on door lid is preventing lock bolt from
retracting.
Wash media buildup is preventing lock bolt from retracting.

Hello,two Philips screws on the back or front corners
remove those and roll the control board up and over
you will see two clips on the each corner in back
pop those off,,,,, remember how they are positioned
once those are off you will see a two wire connector
unplug that, and the top part jump with a piece of wire
no you can roll the cabinet forward and off,
now roll the control back and turn the machine on.

a replacement part should be sought and installed, you can bypass the switch, but the switch is there for a reason if you bypass it the spin cycle will not stop when opening the lid and injury to children or others can happen so this is not recommended

On this washer, the dl code indicates a failed lid lock mechanism. Pressing pause/cancel should reset the controls.

You may have to unplug the unit for 20-30 minutes, then restore the power.

If that doesn't work, the only other solution would be to replace the door lock assembly.

mine does that and i believe it to be the clutch or trans

Not on an oasis..cant bypass.

Try replacing the motor coupler between the motor and pump three small pieces about 18.00 dollars at sears parts store.
